The All Progressives Congress (APC), Imo State Chapter, said that the party received with excitement the judgement of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja affirming the victory of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
This followed the dismissal of the election petitions filed by the opposition party candidates, particularly the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party, Senator Samuel Anyanwu and Senator Attan Acholonu, respectively.
In a congratulatory message signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Cajetan Duke, the APC said, “The judgment by the tribunal has reinforced Governor Uzodimma’s overwhelming victory in the last governorship election, reflecting his broad popularity and the confidence reposed in him by the people of Imo State. Winning in all the 27 Local Government Areas of the state was not by chance but a testament to his accountability and dedication to serving the people, transcending party and religious affiliations”.
“On behalf of the APC Imo State Chapter, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Governor Uzodimma on this reaffirmation of his mandate. This victory is not just his but belongs to every Imolite who believes in the progress and development strides of the APC-led administration.”
“We dedicate this triumphant moment to the good and resourceful people of Imo State, whose unwavering support has been instrumental in achieving this success.”
“As we move forward, the APC remains committed to delivering on the promises encapsulated in the Renewed Hope agenda of the Shared Prosperity administration. We urge all Imo people to continue to remain hopeful and supportive of Governor Uzodimma’s administration. Together, we will work to bring about meaningful economic development and make Imo State an attractive destination for investment and growth.”
“Finally, we call on all relevant stakeholders, including political leaders, community heads, and civil society organizations, to join hands with our esteemed governor in his mission to transform Imo State. It is only through collective effort and unwavering commitment that we can achieve the lofty goals we have set for our beloved state. Long Live APC! Long Live Imo State!! Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!”
