It was the Nobel Laurent, Prof. Wole Soyinka, who once posited that: Human life has meaning only to that degree and as long as it is lived in the service of  humanity. For humanity is infinite”.

On Sunday, 5th April, 2021, in commemoration of Easter, the Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly and member representing Nwangele Constituency, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, alongside his beautiful wife, Lady Shirley Adora Iwuanyanwu, his mom, Lolo Lady Joy Chimdi Iwuanyanwu, before the cheering applause of the clergy and mass of the members of his  constituency, handed over keys to a three-bedroom bungalow, which he built for an indigent Constituent, Mrs. Justina Iwu.

The proactive State Lawmaker, Amara Iwuanyanwu, in keeping to his promise of erecting a befitting home for the woman, has demonstrated sincerity of purpose and humanitarian angle to representation as he donated the house at a time when it is relatively challenging to do so given paucity of funds even as a legislator and Government functionary in the state.

It should be noted that this exemplary leadership style of representation with human face  is coming barely 8  months after the lawmaker singlehandedly bequeathed a multi-million Naira 4-bedroom state-of-the-art parsonage to the New Covenant Church, Amuzi, Dim na Nume Autonomous Community, Nwangele LGA.

However, 4thestatereporters.com authoritatively gathered that before the construction of the brand new 3-bedroom bungalow for Mrs. Justina, the leaky old mud house was a complete shadow of itself as snakes and other domestic animals close to the forest always had a field day in the absence of family members.

While religiously handing over the house to the indigent beneficiary of the three-bedroom flat by Rt. Hon. Amara Iwuanyanwu, a Resident Pastor at the New Covenant Church Amuzi, Pastor Chidi Nwokem, prayed for God’s  super abundant blessings on the egghead legislator and protection over the late Chyna Iwuanyanwu family.

A visibly elated Mrs. Justy, as she is fondly called, who could not contain her heartfelt gratitude, almost broke down in tears as she held so tenaciously the “immaculate babariga” of Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, whom she also described as “A beloved son of Nwangele LGA and God’s  sent to Amuzi village”.

As usual, the guests were later  treated to sumptuous meals at the Basilica of Grace Palatial Amuzi country home of the Deputy Speaker, Sir Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, KSC.
