Senator Ekwunife Commiserates With Chief Polycarp Obiukwu Over Mother’s Death

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, Monday, April 5, 2021, joined the PDP Vice Presidential candidate in the last elections, HE Peter Obi and other men and women of goodwill to pay their last respects to late Ezinne Margaret Uduekwesi Obiukwu.

Late Ezinne Obiukwu, popularly known as Opel Nwanyi, was until her death the mother of Chief Polycarp Obiukwu (Nnabuenyi). Chief Obiukwu is the CEO of Bolton White Group.

The funeral mass which was celebrated by the Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Nnewi, Most Rev Hilary Odili Okeke at Obiukwu’s compound, Osumenyi, Nnewi South had in attendance dignitaries from all walks of life.

In her condolence message, Ekwunife expressed grief over the death of late Ezinne Obiukwu. She described the deceased as a woman who touched too many lives positively with her selfless lifestyle. Ekwunife prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.

The Igbo-Ukwu born Senator also on behalf of her family and good people of Anambra Central Senatorial District extended condolences to Chief Obiukwu.
