The Wife of the Executive Governor of Imo State, Barr. Chioma Uzodinma, has concluded plans to distribute palliatives to 610 Indigent Widows across the State.
The initiative is in celebration of the 2020 International Widows’ Day held on June 23 and will be carried out through the Imo State Ministry of Gender and Vulnerable Groups.

“Furthermore, this gesture of distributing palliatives to them is to further help cushion the negative economic effects of the Coronavirus pandemic on them.”
“The Honourable Commissioners for Gender/Vulnerable Groups and Housing, Hon. Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu and Hon. Dr. Love Ineh, respectively, will be on hand to supervise the sharing of these palliatives on my behalf.”
