Honourable Member, Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Aare’birin Hon. Princess (Dr.) Folashade Olabanji-Oba, who is the Global Director General of Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM) and B.O.T. (ALGONVC), has celebrated workers across Nigeria, Lagos State and Ikorodu particularly on the International Workers’ Day.
While appreciating the workers, Dr Olabanji-Oba, the Convener of Grow Ikorodu Movement and President of Shelter of Grace Foundation said, “Today is not just a date on the calendar; it is a day that is set apart to celebrate the sweat, sacrifice, and strength of all diligent services to our nation”.
“It is a day that echoes the footsteps of every teacher in the classroom, every trader in the market, every artisan under the scorching sun, every civil servant pushing files with hope for a better tomorrow.”
“Today, we celebrate not just your labour, but your power, that shapes our communities, our future, and our destiny. You are the engine of progress, and your voice must be heard loud and clear.”
“Together, we can build a system that rewards hard work, protects dignity, and delivers real development. But it starts with unity, participation, and the courage to stand for what is right.”
“To every worker in Ikorodu, Lagos State and Nigeria,
Your hustle will not be in vain.
Your labour will not be forgotten.
Your future will not be denied.
Together, we rise.
Together, we build.
Together, we win. 🏆✨
With policies where workers are valued, where dreams are possible, and where leadership truly serves the people.”
“Let’s organize, let’s mobilize, and let’s take our rightful place in shaping a greater tomorrow for ourselves and for the future generations yet unborn.
The future belongs to the workers and together, we will make it count.
Happy Workers’ Day!
Happy New Month of Grace!” Hon. Dr Folashade Olabanji-Oba concluded.
