The President of the International Vocational Education and Training Association (IVETA), Serumu Igberadja, has congratulated young people across the globe, especially Nigerian Youths, on the occasion of International Youth Day, commending their potential and invaluable role in shaping a better future.
In a goodwill message to mark the day, Igberadja reaffirmed IVETA’s commitment to equipping youths with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the modern workforce.
He highlighted that the association’s strategic vision focuses on fostering global partnerships to develop a standardized TVET curriculum for seamless cross-border employment, bridging skill gaps through international collaboration, and promoting equality by ensuring equal opportunities for all.
He called on governments, international organizations, and communities to unite in creating a brighter future for young people by supporting youth development through training and talent showcase platforms, advocating for policies that protect and empower them, and fostering global cooperation to drive progress.
“As we celebrate International Youth Day, let us acknowledge the immense potential of our youth and commit to creating an inclusive environment where they can thrive,” Igberadja said.
