Nigerian born power lifter, Thomas Kure has expressed confidence that his exploits at the just concluded World Power lifting World Cup held in Abuja would help him to succeed in the forthcoming Paralympics Games scheduled for Tokyo, Japan.
Kure who did well at the world event in Abuja said his performance was impressive and promised that he would do more in Tokyo. He noted that the money he received from the tournament would be used to train himself for the Paralympic Games.
“ I just came back from Abuja and I will start preparing for the Paralympics Games. I did well in Abuja but I can do better in Tokyo to achieve my dream. I thank Nigerians for their support to make me came qualified for Paralympic Games,” he said.
