A 30-year old lady, one Rashidat Adisa, has been arrested after she displayed her strength by attacking and beating up a man, one Bello John, during a public fight in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Afolabi Street in Ejigbo of Lagos where they reside.
It was gathered that Rashidat had a disagreement with John in the public and in the process she was said to have attacked, held him by the neck and tried to suffocate him before people rushed and rescued John.
The matter was reported to the police at Ejigbo Division; Rashidat was arrested and detained at the police station for the alleged assault.
She was later charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court after the police found her culpable for the alleged offence.
She pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Kenneth Asibor, did not oppose her being granted bail.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. T.O. Shomade, granted her bail in the sum of N40,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 18th March, 2019.
It was learnt that John could not withstand the assault because Rashidat was said to have enormous strength and was more physical unknowing to John.
