The smart working Mayor of Ifelodun LCDA, Hon. Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, while receiving the Governing Council of the Federal University of Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) in his office, yesterday, cited an example of effective African governance in Lagos State, which is the blueprint of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose power of foresight and the import of teamwork has made Lagos, the leading example of a thriving State.

‘Lagos has remained a model state because it has evolved a standard that cannot permit deviations by successors.”

He said that the Lagos State Government has succeeded in multiplying its tax revenues and using these resources to restore basic infrastructure and expand public services and law enforcement.
