The occasion was full-filled when the management and staff of the Lagos State Sports Commission bid pioneer Director, Sports Medicine, Dr Kayode Michael, a joyful bye from the Service.
A send forth and retirement party was held in honour of Dr Michael inside the Molade-Okoya Thomas Indoor Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
The party, which was well-attended by the staff of the Commission, also saw in attendance the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Mr Sola Aiyepeku, the Director-General, Mr Oluwatoyin Gafaar. Dr Michael was at the party with his wife and children.
It was an exciting moment, as staff took turns to eulogise the wonderful time they had with the medical practitioner when he was still in the service of the Commission.
