MultiChoice Nigeria has announced the addition of Lumen Christi, a Catholic TV channel, on its DStv platform.
The channel, debuting on 17 January on channel 350, will be available to subscribers on Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access.
Lumen Christi Television Network (LCTN) is a Catholic television channel that showcases the principles and doctrines of the Catholic Church.
The channel will broadcast programmes centered on faith that will appeal to the whole family. It will also broadcast in-house news segment, teachings by priests and scholars, interviews as well as musicals, dramas, documentaries and videos.
Speaking on the latest development, Managing Director, MultiChoice Nigeria, Mr. John Ugbe said the addition of the channel is in line with the company’s strategy to provide a diversified range of content that will appeal to its different subscribers.
“We are making great content more accessible with the launch of Lumen Christi and we believe it will enrich the lives of our subscribers especially those of the Catholic faith. Our subscribers remain our number one priority; so we listen to them and provide them with more of their favourite content, at great value,” he concluded.
