A young man, Victor Olotu, has landed in trouble after he was caught peeping at a 14-year old girl, while bathing at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Olotu, before his arrest, had seen the girl’s nakedness as he had planned and the victim was demoralised.

The Police however, did not state if Olotu is a Police Officer or the victim the daughter of a serving Police Officer, but stated that the girl went to the bathroom and having removed her clothes, Olotu secretly went through the opening in the bathroom and was peeping at her nakedness before he was eventually caught.

He was handed over to the Police at Ikeja Division for interrogation over the conduct and he reportedly told the Police that he was actually peeping to see her private parts which he  had seen before he was eventually caught in the act.

He was charged for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace before the Ogba Magistrates Court.
However, he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Ezekiel Ayorinde, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, ordered Olotu to be remanded in Correctional Centre having granted him bail and he was unable to perfect the bail conditions.

The matter was adjourned pending when the Court will commence sitting after the lockdown over Covid19.
