A randy man, Mr. Coker Olakunle has been arrested in Lagos after he tricked a lady, Esther Onifade, and obtained N2.9m from her under false pretence.

The incident happened in year 2016 in Ogba area of Lagos where the suspect and the victim resided.
The alleged scam was later discovered by the victim who wrote a petition to the Area Commander, Area G Command, Ogba, Lagos and Mr. Olakunle was arrested.

Police sources alleged that Olakunle had approached Esther and informed her that he was given a contract in Abuja to execute. He was said to have also shown her the documents to prove that there was really a contract and then solicited for financial assistance from her. The victim believed him, went to her bank and transferred the money into his Diamond Bank account with number 0033668667.
However, after collecting the money he bolted away, disconnected every communications with the victim, got married to another lady and went into hiding.
When it was obvious that she had been duped, she wrote a petition to the Area Commander, Area G, Ogba, Lagos who trailed Olakunle and later arrested him two years after. Police sources said that the suspect admitted that he collected the money and had used the money to solve his personal problems including marriage rites and will not be able to refund the money to her.
He was bought to Ogba Magistrates court before the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.O. Adedayo who ordered that the matter be transferred to court 12 for prosecution.
