A 32-year old man, Mr Muntare Bello has done what the residents of Oke-Odo described as unthinkable after he lured a 6-year girl to a dump site and allegedly penetrated her in Lagos.
The incident happened at the dump site popular known as Bollar in Ile Epo area of Oke-Odo in Alimosho Local government Area of Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the suspect took the victim to the dump site where there was a kind of makeshift bed, laid her on the bare floor, removed her pant and used his joystick to rub her private.
However, while that was going on, the parents of the girl were looking for her. They traced her to the site where she was eventually rescued.
Police sources said that when the parents interrogated the victim to know what took her to the dump site, she revealed how Bello took her there and penetrated her.
The matter was reported to the police at Oke-Odo Division and Bello was arrested and detained at the police station.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Bello denied penetrating the victim but admitted that he rubbed his joystick on her private to derive sexual satisfaction because he knew he would injure her if he attempted forcefully penetration.
The suspect was charged before Ikeja Magistrates court for the alleged offence.
He pleaded not guilty
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi granted Bello bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The suspect was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 26 February, 2018.
