N20m For Grabs, As 5th SM Jury Business Conference Holds At Oriental Hotels On Thursday

All roads lead to Oriental Hotel, Lagos when thought leaders from various business sectors will come together for the SM Jury Business Conference on Thursday, 13 June, 2019.

P.M EXPRESS reports that the SM Jury is a global conference event and news platform sharing insights, ideas and trends on Africa’s unique business and digital landscape.

According to the Convener of the SM Jury, Miss Tonia Odili, “the goal of the SM Jury is to train young Entrepreneurs in various sectors by creating a community of young entrepreneurs who believe in themselves and are ready to put their creative minds to use”.

Entering its 5^th year, the SM Jury has hosted events at the U.S Embassy in Lagos, Oriental Hotel, Eko Hotel and Suites, GOETHE Institute, and Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State.

 The Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria’s foremost Real Estate Company, Nedcomoaks, Mr Kennedy Okonkwo , Leader in the ICT Industry and CEO of the Source Computers, Mr Victor Onyejiuwa and the Director of Sales for Renmoney, Mrs. Iyayi Oludapo, are expected to deliver speeches on the theme; ‘’Building Your Empire’’.  Other speakers expected to share their Entrepreneurial journeys are the CEO of GMYT Fashion Academy Princess Kelechi Oghene and the CEO of HNK Interiors, Mrs. Funke Soyibo.

The SM Jury Conference is about to take a new turn as 20 young entrepreneurs will benefit from the N20m Naira grants.

“To be part of this, a contestant will do a one- minute video on social media with the hashtag #SMJURYBUSINESS and tell us why you deserve to win the grant,” the organisers said.

It promises to be an exciting and engaging event as there are lots of activities planned for the day with the Cinematics 360 booth on ground to ensure participants have a feel of the 360 booth experience.
