Nnamdi Kanu And The Narcissistic Mental Disorder

The recent call for an attack on President Buhari in Japan by the leader of the outlawed independent people of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, can best be described as a fall out of the Narcissistic mental disorder Mr. Kanu appears to be suffering from.

A person suffering from the Narcissistic mental disorder is engrossed in unrealistic and unlimited fake scenarios, fantasies and delusions. He believes he is a special breed different from normal human beings. He feels he has achieved so much success even when in actual sense he has achieved nothing and is on a certain journey to failure.

Some of the several symptoms of the Narcissistic sickness are crass arrogance, an overwhelming preoccupation with false success, a fake feeling of make-belief and self importance. Nnamdi Kanu portrays all these symptoms and more.

Fugitive Nnamdi Kanu has placed an ‘attack at sight’ order on Nigerian leaders to IPOB youths both home and abroad. However, he sits in the comfort of his living room in London with his family and cares less about the possible consequences of such actions to these youths including deportation from these countries.

Mr. Kanu has stirred the hornet’s nest by calling for direct attack on President Buhari as Mr. President attends the TICAD7 in Japan. This is a joke taking too far.

Apart from the possibilities of reprisals in any event Mr. President is attacked by anybody, the criminal code act is very clear that any attack on Mr. President or Governor of a state is treason. Part 2 Chapter 6 Section 37(1) of the criminal code act stipulates death penalty for anyone convicted of intimidating, embarrassing and/or over-awing the President or Governor of a state.

It is inconceivable that foreign countries will stand aloof and watch vulnerable youths brainwashed by Nnamdi Kanu attack political leaders in the name of ‘Biafra restoration’ or any other purpose for that matter. These youths who chose to throw away democracy, civility and decorum to the dogs and replace such with gangsterism, barbarism and bestiality risk deportation from the foreign countries where they attack our leaders. These youths stand to lose their property which they laboured for in the event of their deportation.

Smarting from the recent attack on Senator Ike Ekweremadu in Germany by brainwashed IPOB youths, Nnamdi Kanu is now stretching his luck too far by calling for an attack on President Buhari. This call is sad and condemnable.

Nnamdi Kanu is so much frustrated about his Biafra pipe dream that he has thrown every bit of caution to the dogs. He has refused to learn from the wisdom of the great Eze Gburu Gburu Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu who confirmed that the Biafra chapter is effectively closed. This great leader has advised the great Igbos to drop Biafra and integrate politically into mainstream Nigeria to take advantage of the opportunities that abound in the country. That’s the way to go.

The great Gen. Yakubu Gowon, the perfect gentleman and Nigeria’s force of steel during the civil war, has also confirmed that the Biafra chapter is closed. Of course Dim Ojukwu and Gen. Gowon know about Biafra more than any other person including Nnamdi Kanu and his fellow IPOB comedians.

Biafra is effectively over and the true adherents of that struggle have integrated into mainstream Nigeria based on Dim Ojukwu’s counsel. However, some people who were not born during the civil war and who know next to zero about Biafra are now using Biafra as a franchise to extort money from some unsuspecting members of the public.

What Nnamdi Kanu and his co-travellers are doing is making money for themselves using Biafra not fighting for anybody.

The two factors pushing Nnamdi Kanu to the edge of the precipice are the Narcissistic disease and his quest for power and money.

At his current age, Nnamdi Kanu is NOT a kid subsumed by youthful exuberance. Mr. Kanu is mental and he knows it.

People should please stop taking him serious as it is a waste of precious time and energy.

Mr. Kanu is alleged to be using IPOB as his private business and a global enterprise through which he makes money for himself in the name of ‘Biafra restoration struggle. Mr. Kanu has made billions of Naira for himself through donations and other illicit sources of funding to IPOB.

It is clear that going forward; Mr. Kanu may need to answer tough questions as to how he sources funds and through which business he was able to make billions of Naira for himself. Mr. Kanu will surely be exposed at some point over his company often referred to as IPOB plc.

 

The truth is that Nnamdi Kanu is destabilised by the Narcissistic mental disorder which takes him to a world of make-belief. This mental disease is what is pushing Kanu to calling for an attack on everyone including the respected Igbo leaders, South East governors, Igbo traditional rulers and President Buhari himself.

Mr. Kanu’s level of frustration is getting to sky levels. Not a bad idea if he can seek help from a psychiatric doctor or even sign up for rehab.

Nnamdi Kanu has absolutely no structure to wage any successful fight for Biafra. Biafra is history and will remain so. Let no one waste our precious time please.

Mr. Kanu is NOT fighting for anyone but hiding under the toga of Biafra to achieve some selfish interests. Little wonder he maintains his family in London while pushing our youths to war.

Nnamdi Kanu is hell-bent on blackmailing the youths of the South East, the South South and the Middle Belt. The good and industrious people of the South East will triumph over Nnamdi Kanu. Nigeria will outlive Nnamdi Kanu and his fellow jokers in IPOB.

The peace-loving people of the South East deserve a better atmosphere than the one brought to their doorsteps by Nnamdi Kanu’s contraption called IPOB plc which has been confirmed as a terrorist organisation by the Federal High Court in Abuja on September 18, 2017. This ruling was upheld on January 18, 2018.

History is replete with cases of people using Biafra to make money for themselves, MASSOB is a case in point. IPOB will go the way of MASSOB.

The people of the South East deserve better and should stand up against Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB before the outlawed group causes further damage to the rich cultural heritage and economic values of the South East region.

Mr. Kanu’s violent and illogical approach could certainly jeopardise the present and future political fortunes of the peace-loving people of the South East particularly as debate heats up on the 2023 Presidency.

The South East wants to produce Nigeria’s President in 2023 but Nnamdi Kanu is working to destroy the possibilities of an Igbo Presidency in 2023.

Buoyed by the combined effects of the Narcissistic mental sickness and lack of proper education, Nnamdi Kanu has boxed himself into a quagmire. He remains consistently frustrated and is now calling for war in Nigeria. Mr. Kanu should relocate his family from London to Nigeria if he is serious about all his vituperations. If a war breaks out in Nigeria (God forbid), Mr. Kanu will be watching on television, smiling and following updates from the comfort of his living room in London.

Nigerian politicians should also learn a lesson from the Nnamdi Kanu inspired attack on Senator Ike Ekweremadu as some of them are alleged to be sponsors of IPOB. Some of our politicians are alleged to have encouraged Nnamdi Kanu with cash and other forms of support. Now he has grown wings and is fighting them from all fronts.

Nnamdi Kanu doesn’t listen, he only speaks. He enjoys praises for himself but never praises anyone. He thinks he deserves your smile but never smiles to you. These are symptoms of Narcissistic mental disorder.

Nations now think of unity and cooperation NOT secession and violence.

The advice to Nnamdi Kanu is to confess, repent and integrate into mainstream Nigeria. In the event that he chooses to continue his audacity of despair, will Nnamdi Kanu get away with the atrocities he committed against the Federal Republic of Nigeria? Time shall tell.
