The Distinguished Lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi, said that his attention has been drawn to the erection of numerous campaign bill boards and posters by supporters seeking support for his aspiration in the race towards Ogun State governorship in 2027.
While appreciating their love and belief in his capacity to effectively hold the exalted position of governor, the Senator called on his supporters to draw caution in their enthusiasm as the process for full blown campaign and timetable for the party’s primary is not out yet.
“I have been informed of the sighting of billboards and posters erected by supporters and groups in parts of the state soliciting support for my aspiration for Ogun 2027. As a loyal party man fully cognizant of the process and relevant tradition of the progressives family for the last 35 years, I am yet to declare my intention as I await the timetable of the party and other consultative process. Supporters should act in tandem with my tested brand of grassroots politics grounded in due process and rules ” he stated.
Senator Adeola urged his teeming supporters to remain faithful to his cause stressing however, that they should be guided by due process and extant rules of the game particularly in relations to the timing of erecting bill boards and posters for him.a
“I appreciates the time and money expended by my supporters in my cause and pledge that their valuable support will not be taken for granted” he stated.
