ONC Felicitates With Orashi Youth Forum President, Oti Eze Henry On Birthday

The Orashi National Congress, ONC, has sent a warm birthday felicitation to the President of Orashi Youth Forum, Hon. Oti Eze Henry, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement on behalf of the National Executive Council, Board of Trustees and entire membership of the ONC both at home and in the diaspora, the President General, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, described Henry as a brother, leader and friend whose leadership is worthy of emulation.

“Your exemplary leadership, doggedness in youth emancipation, and unwavering commitment to the peace, unity and progress of the Orashi region and Rivers State at large are worthy of emulation. You have demonstrated in clear terms that youth leadership is about service, sacrifice and sincerity, not self,” Ibe said.

He noted that under Henry’s watch, the Orashi Youth Forum has become a strong voice for youth inclusion, good governance and community development, adding that his courage, maturity and bridge-building spirit have earned him respect across Orashi and beyond.

The ONC President General also used the occasion to call for unity within the youth body.

“It is our wish and heart desire that the leadership crisis in court and the fractionalization of the leadership of the Orashi Youth Forum be resolved in the spirit of brotherhood, peace and unity. Orashi youth cannot afford to be divided. We therefore use this occasion of your birthday to appeal to all factions to sheathe their swords, withdraw litigations and embrace genuine reconciliation in the interest of our common heritage. The strength of Orashi youth lies in our unity,” he said.

Ibe prayed that God will grant the celebrant more wisdom, sound health, long life and greater grace to continue to lead aright, foster peace among youths and contribute to the advancement of Orashi Nation.

He added that the Orashi National Congress is proud to identify with Henry and looks forward to a stronger and more strategic collaboration between ONC and the Orashi Youth Forum for the betterment of the people and larger society.
