Soludo’s resolve on ending the bout of Agboro in Onitsha is tangible. As a major pain point for the people, an empathetic Soludo would stop at nothing to sooth the pains, even if it means introducing corrective force.
At the launch of the Anambra State Anti-touting Sqaud yesterday where Soludo addressed the people at the center of Upper Iweka, a spot hitherto inhabited by touts who from there operate criminally within the axis, he was clearly passing a symbolic message that tells everyone that upper Iweka is now a no-go-area for touts.
He calls the new effort “a war and a revolution”. These are strong terms that should signal “May Day” to both the touts and their sponsors. No one should test the resolve of Ndi Anambra who Soludo speak for.
