Onitsha: Are You A Tout Or Tout Sponsor?

Posted on October 24, 2023

Soludo’s resolve on ending the bout of Agboro in Onitsha is tangible. As a major pain point for the people, an empathetic Soludo would stop at nothing to sooth the pains, even if it means introducing corrective force.

At the launch of the Anambra State Anti-touting Sqaud yesterday where Soludo addressed the people at the center of Upper Iweka, a spot hitherto inhabited by touts who from there operate criminally within the axis, he was clearly passing a symbolic message that tells everyone that upper Iweka is now a no-go-area for touts.

He calls the new effort “a war and a revolution”. These are strong terms that should signal “May Day” to both the touts and their sponsors. No one should test the resolve of Ndi Anambra who Soludo speak for.

The Anambra State Anti-touting Squad are a group of well trained and monitored professionals with paramilitary skills. In the case of any misconduct by any member of the squad or to report any touting activity in any part of Onitsha, the public can call the numbers below;
