Speaking about the development, Emeni Ibe, President General of the Orashi National Congress (ONC), commended the Forum’s leadership for yielding to the yearnings of its members and taking steps toward strengthening internal democracy.
He urged youths across the Orashi region to embrace peace and actively participate in the electoral process, stressing that leadership must emerge through credible elections.
According to him, “No one can become a president or occupy any executive position without a duly conducted election,” reaffirming the importance of due process and legitimacy.
Emeni Ibe, who is also the pioneer President of the Orashi Youth Forum and Chairman of its Board of Trustees, expressed optimism that the committee will deliver on its mandate and set a standard for transparency and fairness.
