At the Mega rally for the candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola on Tuesday in Osogbo, Osun State, President Muhammadu Buhai urged the good people of the state to ensure that they don’t return the state to the dark days of underdevelopment.

Buhari who was physically on ground to rally support for Oyetola in Saturday’s governorship poll in Osun State declared that APC must win the election as the state has witnessed good development under the government of Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, adding that these good works must continue with the victory of Oyetola on Saturday.

To the outgoing Governor, Aregbesola, winning the election is undisputable as God has been working with him since he assumed power and the victory is assured.

“We have worked 24 hours to change the face of this state and by the will and power of God we will win this election,” Aregbesoila said amidst interlude of Christian songs which he sang top the delight of Buhari, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and other dignitaries at the Osogbo Township Stadium.

Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole described Oyetola as a gentleman who will carry on the development of Osun state more than Aregbesola would leave it in November this year.

Governance is not where you will do apprentice. At this period of our country we need people who are committed to deliver, which we see in Oyetola,” Oshiomhole said.

The National Leader of the APC, Tinubu on his own noted that more development projects will come the way of Osun State if Oyetola win the election.”Today we can assure with joy that our party will give you the victory and you will another governor in the party,” Tinubu told Buhari.
