Jyoti and Kiran Matharoo in court on Friday

Two Indian-born sisters and bloggers, Jyoti and Kiran Matharoo have been remanded in prison custody for allegedly attempted to blackmail billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola and many other high-profile businessmen.
The sisters were arraigned on Friday 23 December at the Yaba Magistrate’s Court 1, and charged with attempting to blackmail the billionaire businessman, cyber-bullying and running a notorious website called ‘naijagistlive’.
The sisters allegedly used the website to accuse the Forte Oil boss and several high-ranking men including Musa Danjuma, Shina Peller among many others, of cheating and patronizing prostitutes.
As the proper trial adjourned till 26 January 2017, the sisters were ordered to be remanded in prison.

The ladies arriving the court

Before now, the sisters, who are self-confessed prostitutes, have signed a criminal undertaking and issued a heartfelt apology to Otedola, urging him to forgive them for their plots to blackmail and extort him.
The Indian courtesans revealed that they have slept with over 100 rich men in Nigeria. Having pleasured the loins of Nigeria’s filthy rich, they afterwards used their website, naijagistlive.com,  to attempt rubbishing the good name of some of their patrons.
However, the Matharoo sisters met their waterloo after they attempted to cream off millions off Otedola, who had never met the ladies nor have any link whatsoever with them.
The prostitutes, using their now brought down website, sought to blackmail Otedola by claiming to have evidence of him cheating on his wife.

The ladies sisters demanded huge sums of money in order not to go public with the details.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the unassuming businessman tag along in order to burst the blackmailers’ bubble. But as the ladies relaxed and thought they had the businessman on the roaster of “victims”, Otedola was said to have contacted detectives and plotted the arrest of the ladies.
Immediately after their arrest, the sisters made a confessional statement revealing that they are the ones behind the controversial website “naijagistlive” and urged the business mogul to forgive them for their plots to blackmail and extort him.
Before they met their match in Otedola, the sisters had dealt ruthlessly with a lot of Nigerian billionaires. Using their slanderous website, they had wrecked many homes and destroyed the peace and reputation of many of their unsuspecting clients.
A source,  explaining the modus operandi of the two sister prostitutes, said the ladies normally record conversations and s*x romps with their rich clients comprising top politicians, club owners and magnates.
It was said after the acts, they would approach their victims through a third party, demanding a payout of huge sums of monies in foreign exchange or risk the release of the recordings/pictures/videos online through their website ‘Naijagistlive’.
