Prophet Temidayo Afolabi of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Kings of Kings parish, Ipaja Lagos, has landed in a mess for allegedly engaging his 13-year old church member in sex inside his office within the Church premises.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the 36-year old Osun State born Afolabi has been arrested by the police operatives at Ipaja Division led by the DPO, CSP Tokumbo Aboniwonda and transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command for further interrogation.

The 13-year old victim alleged that the prophet had lured her into his office on several occasions, removed her pant and engaged her in sex while warning her not to tell anyone what had happened.

However, the dastardly act was exposed after the elder sister to the victim caught them red handed inside the office where they were having sex and informed their mother.
The mother then interrogated the victim and she eventually opened up; she told her mother how Prophet Afolabi had defiled her severally.
The matter was then reported to the Police at Ipaja Division and Prophet Afolabi was arrested. He was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command where he is currently undergoing interrogation.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that he had already admitted that he had only slept with the victim about five times before it was exposed. It was gathered that Prophet Afolabi took advantage of the victim after their father died and he asked them to come over and live with his family inside the church. While molesting the victim at different times, he used his office to avoid being caught by his wife.
This was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, who said that the suspect was transferred to the Gender Section and will give details after the conclusion of investigations on the matter.

Some of the Church members sighted at the Police Command when P.M.EXPRESS visited, were still in shock and found it difficult to believe that their prophet could engage in such. When they were told that he had already confessed to the dastardly act, some of them in rage and disbelief left the Police Command immediately.
