Removal Of Fuel Subsidy By President Tinubu Will Make Funds Available For Genuine Development – Akinterinwa

The Ondo State Honourable Commissioner of Finance, Mr. Wale Akinterinwa, has commended the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, in taking the bold steps of removing the fuel subsidy.
Speaking at the forum of State Commissioners for Finance in FCT, Abuja, Wale Akinterinwa reiterated that the fuel subsidy removal was long overdue and that in the long run, it will be for the benefits of all Nigerians.
He said, “The removal of fuel subsidy was long overdue. I commend the President for having the courage to immediately remove the fuel subsidy as he was sworn-in”.
“Well, we are going to feel the pains we are feeling in the short run but in the long run, it is in the best interest of everybody.”
Wale Akinterinwa, who is the new Chairman of Forum of State Commissioners of Finance, is a financial expert who has re-engineered the financial architecture of Ondo State, will use his expertise to impact other State Commissioners of Finance as he leads them.
