The Lagos State Governor comes across as someone that is highly unassuming and non persuasive personality. But recent happenings in the State of aquatic splendor has indeed brought out the real personality of a Lagos Island born administrator out.
From the way he represented the nominees that were rejected by the House led by the Agege born Legislator, Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, to what he is doing with infrastructural re-engineering in Lagos State. It clearly shows that Mr. Sanwo-Olu is bent on leaving a legacy that will outlives his name in the heart of Lagosians.
Meanwhile, the Blue Line rail that most critics thought will be an abandoned projects came alive on Monday 4th September after so many postponements and commenced passangers operation of six trip per day.  And right now, the The Red Line has started taking shape and glaring that  it will soon will be commissioned for people that has not come to terms with reality. One can only imagine the enormous gains that the projects will bring to the residents of Lagos.
Let me relay to you the details of the Red Line Rail Project. The Canopy-like structure is the Yaba Bus Station, which was commissioned by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on (15/06/2021) and it is linked to the Yaba Train Station for the Red Line Rail. The markets on the rail will be totally cleared off and a very large pedestrian area will be created.
The Yaba Flyover has taken its shape, there will be a walkway linking the existing Bus Station directly to the Train Station, From Train ➡️ Bus, From Bus ➡️ Train.
From Jibowu, you can take the flyover into Ojuelegba Road and vice versa. You can also drive from Tejuoso to link Muritala Muhammed Way easily through the flyover. This will reduce Train/Vehicular interaction, thereby reducing accidents too.
This alone will go a long way to reposition his Government as being a very vibrant one and responsive to the trauma of the commuting citizens of Lagos State and it will make living conducive for the inhabitants of Lagos State.
The germaine questions that the masses and the people of Lagos State will ask Mr. Infrastructure, Mr. Rejuvenator is how will they maintain the huge projects? This is as our people are noted for rough usages of government infrastructures.
I salute Mr. Governor on these landmark achievements. May God continue to be with him. Ladies and Gentlemen, a beautiful toast to Mr. Rejuvenator, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
