Senator Solomon Adeola Commissions Muyibi Street Road In Ajeromi Ifelodun

The respected lawmaker representing Lagos West Senatorial District and Chairman Senate Committee on Finance, Distinguished Senator Solomon Adeola (Yayi), has commissioned the Muyibi Street road, one of the roads he facilitated for his teeming constituents in Ajeromi Ifelodun Council area of Lagos State..   

The Senator, who was ably represented by Hon Femi Muyiwa John, commissioned the road amid cheers from appreciative residents. 

 Speaking on behalf of the Distinguished Senator, Hon Femi Muyiwa John said, “I thank you all for coming to the official commissioning of Muyibi Street, Olodi Apapa, Lagos”.  

 “This event marks another milestone in the history in our Local Government as such has never happened since the inception of democracy in 1999 as history has it that this road has been abandoned since 1988.”

  “This is the first time we are witnessing such from the Senator representing our Senatorial District  in our Local Government.For a Senator representing Lagos West to have tarred roads with street lights on it despite the fact that our Local Government was not forthcoming for him during his election is commendable as he has brought dividends of democracy to our door step.” 

 “The Senator embarked on numerous projects in Ajeromi Ifelodun, such as solar street lights at Ishaga Street, Amukoko, Mosafejo, and Baale Ayetoro Road going to boundary.

He has equally provided transformers to streets like Ezeagu in Ojo area, Army Signal Barracks Mile 2,  Okunowa Street, Olodi-Apapa and others.”

  “He also provided toilets and borehole to L A Primary School, Amukoko and Awodi Ora Junior Secondary School and handed over to the school Authority.Another solar powered borehole is going on at Oluwa Street, which will be completed soon.”

 “Many residents of Ajeromi Ifelodun Council area have also benefitted from his empowerment programmes, which he had done and thousands of people are still going to benefit from the forthcoming empowerment programme where sewing machines, vulcanizing and hairdressing machines including trainings for entrepreneurs.” 

He hinted that the second phase of Muyibi and Adejiyan Streets in Amukoko are to be awarded in the next set of road projects to be executed by the distinguished lawmaker.

 He used the opportunity to appreciate the community leaders, Chief Alhaji Adebisi, CDC chairman AJIF, Chief Odusanya, CDC Chairman Ifelodun LCDA, Engr. Yaqub, Chairman landlord and tenants association, the APC chairmen Ajeromi and Ifelodun LCDA, Ward Chairmen Ajeromi and Ifelodun LCDA, the Councillors of Ajeromi and Ifelodun LCDA, the traditional rulers AJIF and Ifelodun LCDA and other party leaders for their contribution and cooperation.
