Wasiu told P.M.EXPRESS that he did not know what was happening to him despite the fact that he trained as barber but had been finding it difficult not to steal whenever he entered any mosque.
He explained that when he was in prison, he promised himself to stop stealing but he did not know what came over him to steal again.
The owner of the motorcycle, Shaibu narrated his experience.

He said he parked his motorcycle right in front of the mosque and entered to pray and did not know what was happening outside.
He said when he came out, he was informed that Wasiu came out of the mosque and picked his motorcycle and drove off.
