Chief Dare said, “The late Alhaja Abibatu Ashabi Mogaji OON MFR, the Iyaloja-General of the Association of Nigerian Market Women and Men and mother of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was a truly irreplaceable, irrepressible and indomitable matriarch. In her time, she cast a long shadow in business, politics and activism, and gave us one of the most strategic political minds of our time”.
“Today, I join the Tinubu and Mogaji families to remember her life and honour her memory as we mark a special 10th-year Fidau Prayer for the repose of her soul.”
“As we remember her fondly for her tireless work to rid the society of injustice, inequality and poverty, we hope that younger Nigerians will take a que from her and be inspired to lead more impactful lives.
May Mama’s soul continue to rest eternally. Amin!” Chief Dare, the Sarikin Wasanni of Daura concluded.
