The General Overseer of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, has suspended the leader of the church choristers after a Pastor’s son posted nude video and pictures while having sex with the chorister in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Pastor Mrs. Joshua was angry with the chorister (name withheld) and the chorister was suspended for bringing shame to the church while the scandal was said to have thrown members of the church into disarray.
The incident happened at the Church Headquarters in Ikotun area of Lagos.
Meanwhile, the 30-year old suspect, Johnson Ikechukwu, has been arrested and charged for posting and circulating the victim’s nude video not only to members of the church but to her family members and her friends in order to disgrace the victim on social media.
According to the Police, the suspect who resides in Abaranje, Ikotun, had a disagreement with the victim in August, 2025 over another lady. The victim decided to quit the relationship, which did not go down well with the suspect.
The suspect was said to have approached the victim to resolve their differences and continue with their relationship but she refused and opted for another lover.
Unknown to the victim, the suspect secretly recorded their sex romp and kept it to himself. When he realized that the victim has made up her mind to dump him, he then released the videos to the church members.
The matter was reported to the Police at Idimu Division and the DPO, CSP Agatha Eze, ordered for the arrest of the suspect and detained him at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
After rounds of interrogation, the Police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment.
The charges read:
“That you, Johnson Ikechukwu, sometime in the month of August, 2025, at Abaranje, Ikotun Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did post and circulate the nude videos and pictures of the victim ‘F’ which you secretly recorded on social medial platforms without her consent and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 57 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2015.”
COUNT II:-“That you, Johnson Ikechukwu, on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District, did conduct yourself in manner likely to cause the breach of peace by sending the nude videos and pictures of the victim  ‘F’ to her friends, family and church members and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 168(d) of the criminal laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2015.”
However, he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Sanusi Adetutu, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate,  Mrs. O. Kusanu, granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.
The matter was adjourned till 3rd December, 2025, for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
