A 49-year old school teacher, Raufu Kazeem Akinpelu, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly assaulting a 15-year old girl, Adewunmi Adedoyin Angel, inside the school premises.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 21st January, 2026, at Agbayewa Memorial College, Owodunni Street, Palmgrove, Ilupeju Lagos.
According to the Police, the teacher used the cane to cause bruises all over Adewunmi Adedoyin Angel’s body for allegedly committing an undisclosed offence inside the school.
The girl went home and reported what happened to her parents and the matter was reported to the Police at Ilupeju Division. The Police then arrested the teacher and detained him at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
