The 19th National Sports Festival officially kicked off with the opening ceremony held inside the mainbowl of the National Stadium in Abuja Thursday night.
One of the activities of the opening ceremony was the March Past of the participating states. No fewer than 21 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja took part in the tea, parade, Team Lagos, representing the Centre of Excellence, in their usual manner displayed ‘Eko for Show’ glamour to the cheering of the dignitaries.
