As All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu clocks 65 on 29 March, a socio-political group, Asiwaju Frontliners, is mobilizing its members to pray for him.
The National Coordinators/Director General of Asiwaju Frontliners, Hon. Doyin Johnson told PM EXPRESS in Lagos Friday that all members of the group are being mobilised across the country to support Tinubu with prayers scheduled to hold in Mende Town, Maryland, Lagos starting from 9am on Thursday, 30 March.
PM EXPRESS gathered that the group has already planned a ceremonial prayers session for the former Governor of Lagos State as members have been told to dress in native ankara attire with white gold cap for male and head gear for the female.
According to Johnson, who is also the National Vice Chairman/Zonal Chairman (south west) of Coalition of APC Support Group, God has given Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu all the good things of life, adding that Tinubu’s political and landmark achievements are beyond imagination.
Johnson recalled the vital roles Tinubu played to bring democratic system of government to Nigeria as a stunt member of NADECO after many years of military junta in Nigeria.
He also qualified Tinubu as an outstanding African political leader. “We all aware of his roles to restore peace in Ghana, Kenya and of recent in Gambia just to mention few of many of his noble works to uplift humanity. Asiwaju is a leader who has made outstanding thousands of leaders in Nigeria and beyond,” Johnson said.
He said that 30th March is the beginning of new year of 365 days for Tinubu, hence the importance of starting a new year for him with prayers session.
Johnson disclosed that Asiwaju Frontliners have offered several prayers for Tinubu since the inception of the group in 2011 till date.
He said celebration is a very good way of giving glory to God, while prayer is the key that opens all doors to achieve good things in life.
“We have been offering prayers and we shall continue to pray for our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We wish our leader long life, good health and prosperity, ” he said.
