Traditional Ruler Lauds Ekwunife’s Developmental Efforts As Lawmaker Begins Construction Of Umuowelle Village Road Agulu

The people of Agulu community in Anaocha LGA have lavished encomiums on the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, for her commitment in improving road infrastructure, saying that she deserves to be appreciated for the quality and standard road projects she has been executing in the zone.

Speaking on Tuesday, December 2, 2021, during the flag-off of St. Matthias Catholic Church/Igbadisi Road Umuowelle village, Agulu, the traditional ruler of the community, Igwe Innocent Obodoakor, commended Ekwunife for her giant strides in infrastructural development, adding that the consistent attraction of dividends of democracy by the A-grade lawmaker is commendable.

He noted that Ekwunife has within two years in the National Assembly shown the highest quality of representation, adding that other lawmakers should emulate her.

“We are glad that Senator Ekwunife is the one handling this road project. Her antecedents show that this projects will be completed within time. We thank her immensely for serving the people of the Senatorial District diligently”, the Monarch concluded.

Earlier, Ekwunife reassured her commitment towards providing quality road projects across the zone. She noted that her representation is aimed towards fostering development in the state. She further noted that her stay in the National Assembly would continue to bring even and unparalleled representation.

The quintessential lawmaker, who was represented by the delegation of her project team led by former Chairman of ASUBEB, Dr Rose Nwankwo, promised result-oriented and people-centered representation, saying that her constituents will continue to feel the impact of her representation.

The project team also inspected some of the ongoing projects across the zone. Amongst the projects inspected were Awovu village road Enugwu-Ukwu, Onukwube/Kabe college road Amawbia and the solar street-lights projects in Iyiagu, Udoka and Ngozika housing estates.
