Traditional Ruler Vows To Kick Out Badoo From Ikorodu

Chief Rilwan Alebiosu, the Baale of Poro- Boge in Ikorodu

 

The traditional rulers in Ikorodu has put in place total measures to bring an end to deadly cult group known as Badoo who has been terrorising the residents of Ikorodu division in the past few months.

According to Chief Rilwan Alebiosu, the Baale of Poro- Boge in Ikorodu, who is also the Lagos State Patron of Asiwaju Frontliners, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, who is also the Principal of Asiwaju Frontliners, is a kind hearted man who could not hurt a fly. To this end, he urged the residents of Lagos to always live in peace, love and harmony. He said he is ready and fully prepared to deal with whoever involve or collude with the deadly group to perpetrate any evil in Ikorodu area of Lagos.

Chief Alebiosu also made it cleared that the Ikorodu traditional ruling council has put all the measures in place to ensure that peace reign supreme I’m Ikorodu.

Chief Alebiosu revealed that they will bring nothing to chance to guarantee security of life and property as both physical and spiritual mean will be deployed to bring an end to perpetrators of evil in Ikorodu, adding that as the traditional ruler if he did not play his role, the ancestors of Ikorodu and Yoruba race will never forgive him.

He also advised residents of Ikorodu to let peace reign among them for the communities security to be very effective because “our first family are the people living closer to us,”  he said.

Chief Alebiosu wanted those who have been engaged in night vigilante should not relent as Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode has added more to community security patrol to support the course.

He concluded that in the next few weeks, Badoo or whatever name that the cultist group are being called, “they shall be a thing of the past and Ikorodu will be living in peace as it has been known for with good peaceful record of over 50 years.
With the election in the local governments in Lagos State over at the weekend, Chief Alebiosu enjoined all the elected chairmen and councillors to see their victories as a call to service, he wanted them to get to work as earlier as possible to bring the dividends of democracy to the people in their communities.

“Our elected chairmen and councillors must work  hard to emulate what Governor Akinwumi Ambode has been doing because the people must enjoy the dividends of democracy from them, ” he said.
