Trophy Tour: Buruj Players, Officials To Dedicate Trophies To Ooni Of Ife

Buruj Sports Academy players and officials will this weekend be the guests of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, to present the trophies they won during this year’s edition of English Super Cup in Manchester, the United Kingdom.

The visit is part of the trophy tour put in place by the management of the academy to thank some distinguished Nigerians who have been supporting the activities of the Ikorodu-based academy over the years.

The contingent of the academy to the tournament arrived from England about a fortnight ago and speaking on the feat achieved by the boys on arrival, the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, disclosed that he and his management team will package a befitting trophy parade before the team will commence preparations for their next European tour.

Other distinguished Nigerians that have been penciled down for the trophy presentation include the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the General Overseer of Love of Christ Generation Church, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi and host of others.
