Mrs. Oluwapamilerinayo Hannah Ogunba better known as Mrs. O is a fashion designer, stylist, businesswoman, music producer and philanthropist. But music production and fashion designing wasn’t always at the forefront for Mrs. O who studied Chemistry in the university.
The Ondo native recently revealed her motivation for venturing into music production and fashion designer/stylist.
“The main reason I got into music production in the first place was because I was unable to find any female producers in this part of the world. We have a lot of females artistes and deejays but female producers were kind of rare to find” she said.
“It isn’t always easy for women in any field and even more so in music and showbiz and people always look at you like you are joking when you tell them you also produce music,” added Mrs. O.
“Two things I have always had a passion for are fashion and music. Starting out I couldn’t afford the kind of equipment or production tools I wanted, plus it wasn’t easy getting male artistes to allow you produce for them. Even the female artistes didn’t give me a chance to show them what I could do.
”I was so determined yet such a novice. Fashion has always been my go to place, either shopping for fabrics or new pieces, designing or styling for my friends and clients always made me very happy.”
Mrs. O went further to say that music and fashion go hand in hand so they compliment each other.
She said she is planning a collaborative album with few established and upcoming artistes.
She intends to use the EP to show case her production skills as well announce herself and that she is here for the long haul.
Mrs. Oluwapamilerinayo Hannah Ogunba aka Mrs. O is currently based in Dubai, UAE.
