YPP Opens Office At Umuchu Ward II, Urges People To Join The Moving Train

On Saturday 17th October, 2020, the Chairman of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, Aguata Chapter, Hon. Ifeanyi Unaka, with his Executive Council visited Umuchu Ward II of YPP on a purpose. The Hon. Ifeanyi Unaka Executive Council was at Umuchu to officially open YPP Umuchu Ward II office.

Arriving at the occasion with the State Chairman of the party, Prince (Hon) Moses Obi made it to take a swift turn as he (Prince Obi) piloted the affairs of the occasion and performed the official opening of Umuchu Ward II YPP office.

Apparently, before the commencement of the occasion, the Chairman of Umuchu Ward II, Igwe Celestine Ekwem, in his welcome speech, expressed gratitude to God for making it possible for the Chairman of the party in the state to visit his Ward in flesh and blood.

He Congratulated Hon.Ifeanyi Unaka led Executive Council in their onerous task of leading Aguata chapter of YPP with confidence and providing a party platform and strategies that could make YPP great and win elections in the state.

Without equivocation, the State Chairman of YPP, Prince (Hon) Moses Obi, speaking while cutting the tape to officially open the Umuchu Ward II party office, commended the Chairman of the party in the ward, Igwe Celestine Ekwem, for his steadfast and consistent efforts and commitment in the affairs of the party, seeing that YPP was on firm ground in Umuchu.

He further advised that strategy should be based on canvassing and converting prospective members into YPP which will be considerable valued to the comparative advantage of the party in various wards in the state as baseline to win election. He also said, it should not be surprise if we travel down that road and do the obvious needful, Agu-Awka is assured.

However, the Chairman of YPP Aguata chapter, Hon. Ifeanyi Unaka, said, “Our party is regarded as the number three leading political party in Nigeria, where its leadership believe in good governance, rule of law and enthronement of confidence, transparency and open-door policy which is the prime factor of accelerated development in Anambra State and nation at large”.

He expressed happiness over the peace, unity and progress that bequeathed YPP in Umuchu Ward 2 and commended the undoubted support of the Ward Executives to the State and Local Government Executive.

Giving the vote of thanks, the Youth Leader in YPP Ward 2 Umuchu, Mr. Uchenna Ezeanyagu (a.k.a Akpokuedike of Umuchu YPP Ward 2) extolled the State Chairman of the party, Prince Hon. Obi, for this existing exemplary strength and expansive competence in piloting the affairs of YPP in the state.

He pleaded with the party hierarchy both at State and National to inculcate the synergy that could profitably make the party occupy Agu-Awka come 2021.

“It is better to have something and not need it than to need it and not have it” he added.

However the Deputy Chairman of Umuchu Ward 2, Mr. Aka-Agu, in his own comment pledged the loyalty of the Ward to the State and Local Government Executive and assured them that YPP in Umuchu Ward 2 must rise up against the challenges.

Also speaking, a stakeholder in the ward, Hon. Vitus Ikeh, urged the people to be conscious of the fact that Anambra State needed change in governance and advised the people to make good choice of a liberal candidate, who cares for the masses.
