The woman, Nifemi, who turned cannibal by the biting, has been arrested and charged before Court, which then remanded her in correctional center pending the determination of her bail condition.

The order was given by the Magistrates Court sitting in Ile-Ife, Osun State, presided by Magistrate Olusola Aluko, where the Police charged her for assault occasioning harm.

The prosecutor, Inspector Sunday Osanyintuyi, informed the Court that the defendant committed the offence on August 24 at about 8pm at No. 21 Oke-Soda in Ile Ife by biting Olayera Boluwaji both on his scrotum, stomach and hands and that the offence contravened the provisions of Section 355 of the criminal code, laws of Osun State 2002.
