Her son, Mustapha, was also charged before the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubenje, for defilement which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is found guilty before the Court.
The Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Supol Bisi Ogunleye, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice. The Court ordered his remand in Correctional Centre without  an option of bail while directing the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.

The matter was adjourned till 27th August, 2020 for the report of the DPP’s advice to be ready while Mustapha will remain in custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s report.
