A 30-year old woman, one Mrs. Udoka Ilo, has been arrested in Lagos for crude conduct by allegedly using a hot knife to burn the face of a 13-year old boy and got him seriously injured.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at 26, Sologun Street in Aguda area of Surulere, Lagos, where they reside.
Mrs. Udoka was said to have brought out her kitchen knife, heat it up on her stove until the knife turned red before she used it to burn the victim’s face and injured him.

She pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Benson Emuerhi, asked the court for a short date for hearing; for the police to prove the case as the defendant pleaded not guilty.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Sule-Amzat, granted Mrs. Udoka bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition. The matter was adjourned till 7th March, 2019.
