A self- acclaimed hemp smoking housewife, Mrs Peace Daniel has confessed that since she joined her husband in smoking Marijuana, there has been relative peace in her home.
The mother of three made the revelation at the Lagos court where she was brought to be arraigned for a criminal offence on Wednesday.
She denied that it was the influence of the drug that led her to commit the offence that brought her to the court.
She said she hails from Calabar in Cross River State and married  her husband who is from Umuahia in Abia State but works at the sea port at Apapa, Lagos.

She said she was living peaceful with her husband which enabled them to have their children.
Madam Peace however landed in trouble after she allegedly attacked and poured salt into their neighbour’s generator set.
The incident happened at Durojaiye street, Cele bus-stop in Egbe suburbs of Lagos where both her and the complainant, Okey Onwuoma reside with their families.
She was arrested by the police at Ikotun division and brought to court to be arraigned with assault and conduct likely to cause breach of public peace.
When our correspondent contacted her she said they have agreed that she will repair the generator so that the complainant will withdraw the matter.
The complainant, Onwuoma however said the woman and her husband have been making trouble in the compound.
He said they have threatening the members of his family, especially his wife, which they have assaulted severally.
He also confirmed that the couple smoke heavily in the compound and when any tenant complains, that tenant will be threatened violently.
He said he decided that the matter should be charged to court to serve as deterrent.
“You can see for yourself from her confession that both of them (Peace and her husband) smoke weeds and this always triggers their violence actions against other tenants most times,” Onwuoma said.
As the time of filing the report, both the suspect and the complainant was at the Ejigbo Magistrate’s court where she was expected to be arraigned.
