The south -west zonal competition is featuring 16 male and female Teams from 12 clubs with two male and Female from each State bringing the numbers of Players to 18 Males and 18 Females. In the end,  two  Teams (Club/State)  will emerge to represent the zone at the Round of 16 at the National Competition.

The National Volleyball League is the brainchild of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation under the leadership of Engr.
