2023: National Coalition Of Support Groups Vows To Purchase Nomination Form For Bola Tinubu

The political strategy to bring former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in joining the race for president in the forthcoming general election in Nigeria is getting more interesting by the day.
While the National Leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) has not publicly made his intention to succeed incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari, his loyalists across the nook and crannies of the country are rooting for him, declaring that he is the best candidate for the job.
It is not a surprise however to a coalition of groups supporting Tinubu, National Coalition of Tinubu Support Groups has come out to say that if Tinubu delcare his interest today, they are ready to task themselves to pay for his nomination form.
The National Coalition of Tinubu Support Groups under the national coordinator of professor Garba Shehu working to actualize the dream of Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu presidency last Thursday promised to purchase the 2023 presidential nomination form for Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu during the South West Caucus Leaders’ Meeting of the group held at Otunba Subomi Balogun Conference Centrr Mini Hall inside the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo-State where the south-west caucus leaders meeting was held.
During the meeting, which had in attendance political leaders of the organisation such as: Dr. Doyin Johnson – The Convener and National Secretary, Dr. Babatunde Olokun National Legal Adviser ( Former Federal House of Representative member), High Chief Adebisi Abraham, The Alaja of Ikare Akoko Kingdom – National Financial Secretary, Com. Suraj Fadairo – National Liasion Officer NGO’s and Support Groups, Hon. David Oluokun – National Artisans Liasion Officer, South West Coordinator- Hon. Johnbull Sakiru Adebanjo- former Lagos State House of Assembly member among other people.

Speaking after the meeting, Dr Doyin Johnson, the Convener and National Secretary of the groups said that the two core objectives of the organisation are to mobilize 10 million voters into Asiwaju political empire and amalgamate all available support groups of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu into a forum ahead of 2023 election.
He said the National Coalition of Tinubu Support Groups will purchase N45 million for the 2023 presidential nomination form for Tinubu, adding that if the cost of the form is even higher they are ready to raise it within five days.
“This is a small money, our goal is to make sure he becomes the next president of Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023 in other to replicate outstanding leadership performance done in Lagos state as the Governor in 1999-2007.
“We believe that as president, he will bring desirable changes. The youths will get jobs with other developmental projects as Bola Tinubu is known for,” Dr Johnson said.
While the National Financial Secretary, High Chief, Revd. Adebisi Abraham said that it is a known fact that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is very rich to purchase even 200 presidential nomination forms, but it is an honour and encouragement from NCTSG to him for the good job he has done from 1991 to date, adding that if the cost of the form is N72million, members of the coalition can within one week raise the money among themselves, as each state of the country can raise more than N2 million within a short time, as Tinubu’s presidential job is a national assignment
According to Comrade Suraj Fadairo who is in charge of Organisations and Groups Registration, the coalition has a formidable 102 registered support groups under the National Coalition of Tinubu Support Groups, as they are not organisations on paper or Facebook, but organisations with formidable grassroots-based networks.
The group charged all political parties in Nigeria to commence a process of adopting Tinubu as the sole candidate for Nigeria for the country to move faster forward.

A list of South West State Coordinators in attendance, who are also selected apex leaders from south west states obtained by P.M. EXPRESS revealed that the meeting was well attended.
Ondo State- Prof. David Adedayo, Oyo State – Engineer Tunde Tolase, Ekiti – Mr. Clement Famisa, Lagos State – Comrade Tunde Adekoya, Ogun State- Hon. Gazal Olasunkanmi, Osun State -Ogbeni Mukaila Oni, Comrade Taiwo Ajayi of Yoruba Presidential Agenda also NCTSG South West Exco member, Mrs Talabi Akinbile Elizabeth former Ogun State CPC State Chairman -NCTSG South West Executive member and other few selected prominent political bigwigs from south-west zone were at the meeting.
