Posted on April 29, 2024

The 2024 Nationwide League One ( NLO) is in the second week across all centres in the country and the Maracana Center in Ajegunle, Lagos, has been witnessing the evolution of some new and exciting talents for the future of the Nigerian football as a total of 21 teams are battling it out in the stadium.
Today, we beam our searchlight on Inyang Edet, the Buruj FC goalkeeper that has been making waves with his saves at the centre.
He is one of the most talked about players at the centre by the fans for his distinct display.
The Buruj FC goal minder is the shining light of his team, as his qualities and bravery in goal stands him out.
The Ikorodu based team parades the youngest set of players in the competition and perhaps one of the inexperienced squad in the centre.
Despite leading an army of inexperienced warriors to the battle ground, Inyang Edet has been outstanding in his performance, getting rave reviews after every match with super performance, distinguishing himself from his equals.
The 19-year old possesses the attributes of a modern goalkeeper and he has been displaying all so far to help his team’s porous defensive play.
The over six feet tall goalkeeper is one of the fans favourite in the centre pulling saves after saves for his team bringing his agility, speed and sharp reflexes to bear.
He has been faced with more shots than any other goalkeeper in the centre but he uses the occasion to shine as he has saved more goal bound shots as well many one on one situation than any other goalkeeper in the centre.
One does not have to be a scout or trained technical person to see the potential of Inyang as his agility, speed, grip, composure, bravery and commanding presence in goal is obvious for everyone to see.
No doubt, Inyang Edet has shown that his future is safe with his saves, he is one of the stars to watch out for in the near future.
