3 Armed Robbery Suspects Nabbed With Charms & Weapons During Operation

It was a success story for Police Operatives at the Ogun State  Command following the arrest of three members of a robbery gang, who had been terrorizing Ewekoro and its environs. 
 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Police also recovered robbery charms and several arms as the suspects, Ahmed Isiaha, Sunday Ajibola and Jimoh Wahab were arrested during the operation at Apomu Community in Ewekoro Local Government area of the State while they were dispossessing members of the community of their belongings.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer,  SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed that they are in Police custody undergoing interrogation.
According to SP Oyeyemi, the suspects, Ahmed Isiaha, Sunday Ajibola and Jimoh Wahab were arrested following a distress call received at Ewekoro Divisional Headquarters that a four-man armed robbery gang have invaded Apomu Community robbing members of the community of their belongings.
Upon the distress call, the DPO Ewekoro Division, CSP Jacob Olayemi, quickly mobilized his patrol team and moved to the scene.
However, on sighting the Policemen, the hoodlums took to their heels but they were hotly chased and with assistance from members of the community, three amongst the hoodlums were arrested while one of them fled and now at large.
He stated that the Police recovered from the suspects, one locally fabricated double barrel pistol, five live cartridges, one expended cartridge, one Bajaj motorcycle with registration number TTN 975 VU, one TVS motorcycle with registration number JBD 353 W and some charms.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Frank Mba, has directed that the suspects be transferred to State Criminal Investigation Departments for discreet investigation.
He stated that the suspects will be charged before the Court for conspiracy and armed robbery but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
