Leaders Of Anambra APC Congratulate Soludo, Describe Him As The Choice Of Ndị Anambra

Posted on November 14, 2021

The leaders of major opposition political parties in the just concluded Anambra 2021 Gubernatorial election have all accepted the outcome of the November 6 election that produced Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

Of particular interest is the torrent of congratulatory messages coming from leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State. Leading the pack is Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige – – the Leader of the Party in the State – Senator Stella Oduah, the distinguished Senator representing the good people of Anambra North. Also on this train of goodwill are Chief Sharon Ikeazor (Minister of State for Environment), Dr George Muoghalu, the DG of Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority. Others include, Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo, and Engr. Barth Nwibe.

This is the progressive politics for which Anambra is known, which of course was exemplified by Soludo himself in 2010 after he lost to Mr. Peter Obi in the gubernatorial contest of that year.

There is a growing resistance by the people against any form of legal maneuvering of the process they have collectively adjudged credible and representative of their shared will. This is novel, even as they salute the courage of all other candidates, who have put the people first by congratulating Prof. Soludo.
