Police College Badminton Tourney Kicks Off

The much-awaited inaugural edition of the Police College Badminton Club Indo – Nigeria Chinese Intra Club Tournament would begin on 17, December at Badminton Indoor Sports Hall, Police College, Ikeja, Lagos.

The three days event would feature male, female, mixed doubles, and exhibition categories,

Chairman Police College Badminton Club, Mazi Kelechi told our correspondent that the three days badminton tourney was put together to further develop the game of badminton in the country, foster healthier relationships among members, encourage fitness, recreation and promote cultural diversity.

He also said the tourney would also promote wellness among members of the Police College Badminton club and urged the participating players to see the tourney, not a do-or-die affair.

“We are looking forward to the tournament and everything has been put in place to organize a successful badminton tourney. The participating players should display the spirit of sportsmanship throughout the three days event and shun any form of vices that can ruin the competition,” he said.
