Nde Ngor Okpala: My First Proposition On Minimum Standards…

When reality fails to meet expectation, Tochi Okereke happens. To many, the idea of government and legislation is about getting there by all means to grab the cherry. I can bet you that Tochi did not get the details of what legislative responsibilities are. Thus, upon finding unanticipated, unpleasant conditions, he fled.
Don’t blame him. Those who midwifed his emergence in the first place were focused on his pocket, not our shared good. Hence should bear a greater part of the blame.
As part of my proposition in the light of prevailing reality, the stakes should henceforth be high above the reach numbskulls. Tenacity to previous legitimate endeavours should be considered, not the tenacity of a retired fraudster or their “Yahoo Yahoo” grandsons.
The times have changed, so should the conversation. The legislature is a place of ideas, and skilled lobbying.
If you know you don’t have this basic qualification, just “comot body”.
Those, who gave us Tochi, should have been in Church yesterday to seek divine forgiveness.
