Adultery may be dangerous when one considers what happened to a lady, Biola Soyinka, as her married lover, a 40-year old mechanic, Olasunkami Oluwole, reportedly beat and strangled her to death during a squabble.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Oke Igbo Community in Ondo State, where the suspect invited his lover and hid her because of his wife.

The father of two, Oluwole, had invited his lover, Biola Soyinka, who resides in Lagos, to his base in Ondo State. The lady, Biola, travelled on 3rd January, 2022, to Ondo State, where she met Oluwole.

The randy Oluwole camped Biola outside his home in the area because of his wife, who did not know he had a visitor from Lagos. But the  pleasurable visit turned sorrowful when Oluwole called Biola’s younger sister and  informed her that Biola had died on 16th January, 2022.

According to Biola’s elder brother, Akeem Jinadu, Oluwole said Biola became unconscious and slumped on that day and she was taken to the hospital and doctors confirmed her dead. Oluwole demanded for N250,000 from the family to send her corpse back to Lagos.

The death was reported to the Police at Ondo State Command and he was arrested. When the family went to identify Biola remains at the morgue, there were marks on her body obviously sustained from beating.

According to her brother, Jinadu, “Her neck, face, and body had dark patches because she is a fair complexioned lady. From the state of her corpse, it was very oblivious she didn’t die from falling, rather the marks on her body showed she was beaten and strangled to death”.

According to Police sources, when Oluwole discovered that Biola had died, he hurriedly sneaked out before he was caught and handed over to the Police while attempting to escape.

The Police said the suspect, Oluwole, has been transferred to the SCID, Akure, for further investigation over the death and may likely be charged before the Court for murder if the Police finds him culpable during the ongoing investigation.
